How it works
Build something, send it to your grown-up, and watch it go live.
1. Build something
Anything that runs in a browser counts ā a game, a website, a story, a quiz. Most projects
are a folder with an index.html file in it, plus whatever pictures, sounds or code you added.
You can build it however you like. CodeQuest does not care which editor you used.
2. Send it
Open Iām a builder, sign in with your builder name and PIN, and drag your project folder onto the page. That is the whole upload ā no zipping, no accounts to set up, no git.
We check a few things automatically: that there is a start page, that the files are the kind a browser can show, and that the project is not enormous. If something is wrong, you get a plain-English message telling you exactly what to fix.
3. A grown-up checks it
Your parent sees it waiting in their list. They can play it right there before deciding. They either approve it, or send it back with a note about what to change.
Nothing you make becomes visible to anyone else until a grown-up has said yes.
4. It goes live
Once approved, your project gets its own address on the internet and a QR code. Show the code to someone and their phone opens your project.
Made it better? Send it again. The new version replaces the old one at the same address, and your earlier versions are kept safely in case you want to go back.
